Professor Christopher Bulstrode, a senior specialist from John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford has arrived in Gaza.  He will be working with MDM, training surgeons on war and trauma surgery while treating patients from Gaza one week.  

The training the Professor is giving aims to enhance the knowledge of orthopaedic surgeons from Gaza in war and trauma orthopaedic medicine.  Professor Bulstrode and his team will treat those suffering from operative complications following injuries resulting from last year's war.

International Migrants Day - Friday 18th December - is an opportunity to raise awareness on the human rights of migrants. 

On this day we highlight the growing tendency in different states of the European Union to impose a 'duty to denounce' on undocumented migrants, which harms undocumented migrants' access to healthcare and the professionals working with them, notably many organisations that are part of the HUMA network.

MDM UK has launched HEALTHlink a new online forum to improve access to healthcare services for migrant workers, asylum-seekers and refugees. 

The network will provide a platform for healthcare professionals, academics and students to exchange information and best practice to help marginalised people access health care.
